Veterinary Care Services… On the Dock & On the Water
Doc at the Dock is the marine answer to an emergency veterinary clinic. Dr George Kramer, veterinary cardiologist and internist from Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists has outfitted his boat with a complete complement of specialized equipment and supplies to handle most any emergency out on the water or at various marinas around Long Island.
Now you never have to compromise your life on the water with your enjoyment of having a pet. Because no matter how old your dog or cat is, the specific condition they are dealing with or how much you fear that boats and docks can be hazardous to pets, when Doc at the Dock is port, your pets are safer than they probably would be at home.
Our ship is completely equipped with the latest in mobile veterinary technology.
These include:
EKG
Ultrasound
Minor Surgical Equipment (For Laceration Repairs, Small Mass Removals, Etc.)
Cloud-Based EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
On-Board Pharmacy
Vaccines
Doc at the Dock Veterinary Services is run by Dr. George Kramer, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM… one of the most respected veterinarians in the country and the medical director of PetVet a coast-to-coast network of over 500 veterinary offices.
Also on the staff is Jennifer Kramer, Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 20 years of clinical experience.
With this wealth of experience, you can be sure that your pet is in good hands on the water and off.
A report of your pet’s exam will be emailed to you and your regular veterinarian.
